The Covid-19 pandemic is affecting all of us in one way or another and it forced us to change our routine in many ways; such as social distancing and stay home stay safe, but that does not mean that business and life has to stop completely. We just need to be creative and find different ways to continue our life and business.
Clearview Home Inspection will continue preform detailed and thorough home inspection as we always did, but we made some adjustment and we came up with the following Covid-19 Ten Commandments that we will send to our clients and their agents before every inspection:
1. Seller/ tenant must leave the property for the duration of the inspection.
2. Only one representative of the buyer and their agent can attend the inspection (any other participant will have to stay outside the property).
3. No buyer over 65 years old are allowed to be present in the inspection (they can send a representative).
4. The buyer can not follow the inspector during the inspection.
5. 6 feet social distancing in a must at all time.
6. Walkthrough at the end of the inspection will be conducted, a laser pointer will be used to point things from a safe distance.
7. If the costumer does not feel comfortable being physically in the inspection we can do a video conference with the agent (if agent feel comfortable with it).
8. If client was not present in the inspection and no video conference was done, a phone call can be arrange between the client and the inspector after client review the report to answer any questions (agent can be present on this conference call).
9. Personal protective equipment must be wear at all time (gloves and face mask).
10. If anyone feel a little sick or suspect that he/she may have been in contact with someone that is sick cannot be present at the time of the inspection.
Our inspector also will wear a mask and gloves, he also will clean all his tools with Alcogel before every inspection.
We realize that those Commandments make things complicated but they will help us keep everyone safe and go through this hardship together.
We ask you to be cooperative and obey those ten Covid-19 Commandments.”
